Jeremiah 6:15Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? no, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, said the LORD.16Thus said the LORD, Stand you in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and you shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.17Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Listen to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not listen. …

Jeremiah 50:5 They will ask the way to Zion and turn their faces toward it. They will come and bind themselves to the LORD in an everlasting covenant that will not be forgotten.

Matthew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Generations of Faith or Generations of Idolatry? What will you pass on?

Have you ever had one of those "wow" moments with God? Don't forget to tell your kids about those moments when God was so real - that is what carries us through the deserts and plants seeds of faith in the generations to come!

Dear God keep us from idolatry all we need is YOU!

Butterflies

It's 7 am. We are heading to South Carolina. We stopped to buy breakfast at the Columbia bakery.

Looking out the window Nelson proclaims, "mommy I'm watching a butterfly". Excited and looking everywhere I said, "Where!" He responded, "If you wait patiently you will see it." Smiling I waited and them again asked where he saw it at and he replied, "if you're quite it will come. "

God, butterflies are beautiful. As they flutter by there is a moment of joy, but in your presence there is fullness of JoY!

If I will just wait patiently in your presence there is no telling what I might see.

If I can just sit quietly you will come, you will be near whispering sweet truths in my ear!

Anointed on Purpose

Anointed on Purpose - JOSEPH March, 9 2013 – youth service IDP

GEN 37- JOSEPH’S DREAMS

GEN 39 – JOSEPH AND POTIPHARS WIFE

GEN 41 – JOSEPH INTERPRETS PHARAOHS DREAMS

1. He had a dream – a future and he acknowledged it.
2. He lost his identity – His Coat, His position as “his fathers favorite”
3. He was separated from his family – sold into slavery.
4. He became a servant
5. His integrity was tried
a. God wants people of integrity to trust His will with.
b. Can he Trust YOU?
6. He was in prison
a. Part of the process, it was positioning him for God’s will - the dream to be accomplished.
b. How would he have ever gotten into the kings throne room if he would not have spent time in that jail cell and gotten to know that baker, and the buttler?
7. He was used – interpreted the dreams
a. The gifts of the spirit
b. Hunger is part of getting to the goal – Hunger to know Gods voice -
8. Right hand to the king
a. God Exaults –
b.
9. Brokenness
a. JUST being the Kings right hand is not the dream – Positions will not substitute
b. When Joseph saw his brothers he wept – Forgiveness and Healing
c. We have to have moments when we ask everyone to leave (THE DISTRACTIONS) and just say, this is my heart GOD IM BROKEN … this is the REAL ME …. And being with you is all that matters!

GEN 45:11-13

- The Generations after us are affected by your willingness to allow this process to be accomplished in YOUR life … are you willing to PAY the price?
- Do you just want to GO to church?
- Or do you want to allow GODS will to be ACCOMPLISHED in your life?

PS 14:2 “The LORD looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand (act wisely), who seek after God.”

“YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW” – carrots = carrots

Anointed on PURPOSE.

WHAT do you WANT? WHAT are you willing to pay?

A few People to Look at:::

Elijah and Elisha – Working, and the mantle fell upon him

1 Kings 19:19-21 19 “So he departed from there, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he was with the twelfth. Then Elijah passed by him and threw his mantle on him. 20 And he left the oxen and ran after Elijah, and said, “Please let me kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow you.” And he said to him, “Go back again, for what have I done to you?” 21 So Elisha turned back from him, and took a yoke of oxen and slaughtered them and boiled their flesh, using the oxen’s equipment, and gave it to the people and they ate. Then he arose and followed Elijah, and became his servant.”

Lady with issue of Blood

- Virtue went out of Jesus
- Anointing Rest upon us (Mantle)

Touch Jesus – Push through the “crowd” Prayer and Fasting

Hosea 10:12 “…break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.”

You have to get a hold of an alter

WHEN HE SPEAKS TO YOU in those MOMENTS of brokenness – DO WHAT HE SAYS, CHANGE.

Don’t “Go back to where you came from, RUN after the ELIJAH … Don’t let that mantel OUT of your sight!”

ALL I WANT IS YOU – I WANT TO SERVE YOU – I WANT TO BE ANNOINTED FOR A PURPOSE like DAVID!

***`The 'horns of the altar' probably comes from another scripture: “God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.” (Psa. 118:27, KJVS) The 'horns' were corner projections which could be as anchor points when tying on several sacrifices at the same time. It has come to signify 'determination' in that the believer has not only made his sacrifice but tied it down so that it doesn't slip off the altar when the fire burns.

So both thoughts of the horns of the altar here merge into the idea of desparation; I think this is what 'believers' have in mind when they use the phrase. I think from the tone of voice it usually means a deliberate and irreversible sacrifice.’ *(http://www.sermonindex.net/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=6565&forum=36&2)

When will you let God show his power in your life?

Moses said to Pharaoh, “I leave to you the honor of setting the time for me to pray for you and your officials and your people that you and your houses may be rid of the frogs, except for those that remain in the Nile.” “Tomorrow,” Pharaoh said. Moses replied, “It will be as you say, so that you may know there is no one like the Lord our God. (Exodus 8:9, 10 NIV)

Today .... Not tomorrow!
GOD please ToDAY!

Slavery. Prisons. Purpose.

It's powerful. Even in our lives the bad and terrible things we go through are so we are able to help others in their times of trouble!! There is purpose ... If we seek righteousness!!!

Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life. For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest. And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance. So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt. (Genesis 45:5-8 KJV)

Be not discouraged.
Your not alone.
He orders your steps!!!
